When did you discover sudoku puzzles?
A mutual friend (thanks Dotty!) introduced them to us as a means of travel entertainment. They're great for long airplane rides! At first glance, Kelly was convinced that these types of puzzles weren't for her. How things change (if you're willing to have an open mind)! Heather was an addict from the beginning!How did you come up with your sayings?
It was through our natural inclination to talk about life puzzles. When we challenged ourselves with sudoku puzzles, we made the sudoku/life connection almost immediately.How did you make the puzzles?
This was our biggest challenge. We knew we wanted our book to have puzzles and though we were well versed in solving puzzles, we had never before given a thought to making puzzles ourselves. It was through trial and error and working backwards that we were able to make the puzzles. We found that given time and practice, we became quite good at creating puzzles.Why a book?
We love and cherish books. We spend lots of time discussing books. It was only natural for us to want to share our sudoku/life thoughts with others in the form of a book.Where do you live?
We live in Cumberland, Maine. Kelly lives with her husband, Matt, her daughter Emily and her son Jimmy. They have two cats, Barley and Basil. Heather lives with her two sons, Chase and Thomas and their dog Dewey.What piece of advice would you give to a sudoku newbie?
